So Groce missed our layups tonight? I don't agree with all of his decisions but if there is a coach that you agree with everything he does let me know

The coaching part is that after we have missed 9 or ten threes we keep shooting, we've been missing layups so try to run plays where we can best utilize the personel, I'll hs that he's doing the best with what he has (which isn't much) it's just frustrating seeing a team with such potential play so bad. When he gets his guys and can run his offense I have no doubt he's the right guy. He just has to adjust to the guys he's been given right now

We have won games because we have out-toughed guys all year. When we start missing lay-ups we put our heads down and lose our edge to us. Groce won't let this team lay down. We need Rice to get healthy and bounce back Wednesday

If we aren't ready to go Wednesday night our players don't want it bad enough. This is the point where the players put it on their own shoulders to not accept losing like this. Need Joe, Tracy, Ray, or Nnanna to step up and lead over these next couple of days

This is why I don't like us to be ranked. Time and time again it seems to mess with their heads. I couldn't agree more. I really don't care if Illinois is ranked or not. It means nothing...especially this early in the B1G season. |

If we ever want to be an elite team we have to play well when ranked. Being ranked doesn't determine the outcome of games but it does a lot of good for a program. It gets you national games, it gets your team publicity on ESPN, people take notice
