8CT Purdue@ Illinois
Absolutely must win this. Pretty much need to do what we were supposed to do vs NW and pound them from the start. Have to get our confidence back. When you are missing bunnies it is all in your head.

We gotta get our heads out of our asses. Got too much confidence and then fell to far apart after the Wisconsin game. Now you have to win 2 of next three. HAVE to. Or else your in deep shit.

Not sure I agree with having to win the next two. I don't think our season hangs on beating MSU. We need an upset but it really doesn't matter who it is. It could be any of the top teams in the B1G. Just need to win a few toss up games and steal one

I'd say that at least the Purdue game is a must win. If we lose that one then it's a streak and very bad for the morale of the team and fans.

yes I agree that the Purdue is pretty much a must win with the games that follow.

I will always watch the games to the very end of the games, even the games where we are way behind (like Wisconsin) but I can see where other fans might stop if it gets too bad. We need that positive fan base and I hope the Assembly Hall is full on Wednesday. AND, I hope they are loud.

My two more cents. The team has to want to win, want to fight. For example, the Missouri game. Tons of energy and no wussy shots. They followed through. I wish this all just came natural every game but it just doesn't. It's not been there the last two games.

Hammons will kick nnannas ass tomorrow night. Now the key is Nunn and Tate. Can they come off the bench and each guard a Johnson brother. I would run a box and 1 on Hammons. That sounds insane but it would work. Purdue has basically one shooter in Anthony Johnson if that is his name? I want to see us press out of the gate to see how good it will work.

My main key is our mental game. Are we going to be mentally ready to go? When D1 players are missing layups it is all in their heads. They have to play loose and relaxed and not like they are trying not to make a mistake. Need to see some toughness and togetherness tomorrow night.

We have to come out ready to go against Purdue. Must win, get back on track. They really looked like they had a hang over from the Wisconsin game when they played NW.

If they lose this one, it might be safe to start worrying.

You can't have Egwu with zero points and chucking up threes like he's a shooting guard. Get on the block big man!
